ISSUES

A Stronger Economy

Lower taxes, less regulation, and putting America first are critical to building a strong economy. We need to renew our commitment to creating high-paying jobs for Ohio.

Tax Cuts Create Jobs

When taxes are low, businesses have more money to expand, create jobs, and provide better pay and benefits to their employees. We need to continue to empower entrepreneurs and business owners to build an even stronger economy.

A Stronger Middle Class

We need to continue to strengthen the middle class so families can keep more of what they earn, achieve financial stability, prosper, and plan for the future.

The Importance of Business

Politicians don’t create jobs, businesses do, but politicians can empower businesses to create jobs by reducing taxes and slashing regulation and red tape. Freed from the burdens of an overreaching government, businesses expand and grow, creating new products and services.

Citizen Legislators

The days of the professional politicians must end. Citizen legislators are the backbone of America. We need more people from the private sector to step up to serve honorably at every level of office while never losing touch with their communities.

The Principles of Our Founders

Our Founding Fathers created a nation of the people, by the people, and for the people. They never envisioned professional politicians who were more concerned about re-election than serving their constituents.

Reform Government

Elected officials must regain control over the government from unelected bureaucrats, and elected officials must be held accountable by the people at the ballot box.

Reduce the Power of Government

Government takes too much of our money and the bureaucracy has too much power over our lives. We need to continue to cut taxes, cut the size and scope of government, and restore the principles of individual liberty and individual responsibility.

Restoring America

We must continue to fight to restore America by supporting the principles that have made this country the beacon of hope and opportunity for the world. That fight starts with us – in our families and in our communities.

Excellence in Education

We need to reform education, put parents in charge, and focus on fundamentals: English, math, science, and history. We need to set high standards and challenge students to achieve.

The Value of Hard Work

We must reinforce the importance of work. We must honor the trades and provide greater opportunities for young people to gain real-world skills, enter the workforce, and thrive.

Fixing the Opioid Crisis

The opioid crisis is both a cause of and a result of the economic and social decay of our communities. There is no simple fix. We must provide help and support to those who are addicted. We must aggressively prosecute the dealers and pushers who prey on the most vulnerable.
